How do I make sure someone is checking my email?

You have a couple of options with regard to your email while you are out.

  1. Set a Delegate: If you set a delegate, this person will be able to check you inbox and even reply to emails on your behalf while you are out. There are several permission options when adding a delegate, so be sure to visit the walkthrough for MAC and Windows to set appropriate permissions.
  2. Forwarding Rule: If you simply want to forward emails to members of your team you can setup rules to accomplish this. See the steps for creating forwarding rules here.

It's a good idea to test both the delegate and rule settings you've setup before you depart, so you can make sure everything is working as desired, before you leave.
