This function allows grandparents, neighbors, etc to check in children, but they will not be added to their household. It also does not create a duplicate record so Konnect points and serving requirements stay on the one same child.
1. Adding to the additional households
Search for the household that will be bringing the child. i.e. Grandparent or neighbor
From the main profile page, scroll down to Known Relationships.
Click the + on the right side when you hover over the name bar.
2. Select Relationship
Select the child that will have other than family members check them in.
1. Click the drop down and select the correct relationship. For a neighbor or other friend, select Allow Check in by.
You can select Grandparent, Parent, Foster Child, anything on this list that applies to this person
2. Click in the search field and type in the name of the person checking them in in the search window
3. Select the correct person (click the view profile to see more information)
4. Click the Select button.
5. Click Save on the right side.
Continue adding adults as needed. (It's best to add both head and spouse since they have individual key tag numbers)
2.1. Removing Known Relationships
Find the person that needs to have the known relationship from
Select Extended Attributes
In the Known Relationship Window. Hover over the person to be removed and click the X that appears.
