This article will show you how to process people in Rock who are deceased; along with how to remove them from the household entirely.
1. Processing the individual who is deceased.
1.1 Type the first and last name in the search bar in the upper right side of the screen.
Click on the correct name.
1.2 Click the Edit pencil under the individual's name.

1. In the Record Status box click the drop down and select Inactive.
2. In the Reason box, click the drop down and select Deceased and add the date if you have it.
3. If necessary, put a note in the Inactive Reason Note area. (Ex, wife called and reported husband deceased on March 6th, 2024.)
1.4 Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
2. Removing a deceased person from the household.

Follow actions 1.1 in Step 1 above to find the individual.
Scroll down on the deceased person's profile and Click the Edit Pencil next to the Family's name.
2.2 Click the boxed arrow just below the person who needs to be removed from the household.
After you remove someone from a household, the household address is added to that person. It's best practice to then search for that individual and edit the address to make it previous. Otherwise, the household will still receive mail for the deceased individual.
