How to Enter Connection Requests

This article outlines how to enter Connection Requests using Communication Cards.

1. Search for the person.

We've written a helpful article that outlines How to search for a person or household.

Click the dropdown arrow next to Name in the upper right side of the screen. This will display search options.

When using Name, it's best to only enter the first few letters of the first and last name. The exception is common names like Jones, Smith, Thomas - enter the entire name.

2. Select the correct person (there may be several options).

3. Enter the Communication Card in the Connection Requests area.

In the upper right side of the screen, click the Actions drop down.
Select Start Connections.

Select your Campus.

Select the Connection Item:
- Under Connection Opportunities click in the empty row below the heading.

Select the correct Connection Opportunity.

4. Add Connection Notes, if needed.

Under Connection Notes add any necessary notes (Prayer Request or to serve in LifeKids, etc).
Click Submit.

To add multiple connection items, repeat these steps for each one.
