Submitting a Paper Volunteer Application

Navigate to rms.life.church and enter your username and password to log in.

Use the applicant's name from the paper application and search to find their Rock profile. If you can't find them, create their profile following the steps outlined in this article.

From the individual's profile page, click the Actions button, then select Submit Volunteer BGC.

Before submitting the application, please verify the following:

  • All items are legible.
  • Applicant’s legal name, Social Security number, and date of birth are included.
  • All appropriate lines and paragraphs have been initialed and signed.

The application entry form will be pre-filled with the available data from the individual profile.

Verify all of the required fields have been input and click Submit.

After entering the applicant’s information, the staff member will submit the completed paper applications to Risk Awareness as follows:

  • Scan the paper applications into one PDF file.
  • List names of applicants in the body of the email (one name per line).
  • Subject line is campus abbreviation then the abbreviation BGC to indicate Background Check. For example: WEL BGC
  • Email PDF file to [email protected].
  • Shred the original paper applications after background check has been submitted to Risk Awareness.

If you let a volunteer use your computer to fill out the volunteer application, be sure you log out of Rock first
or it will change your profile.
