Restarting an iPad

Updated on

Sometimes technology freezes up or stops working correctly. Most issues that are involved with the lighting app on the iPads in Loop/Konnect can be resolved with a restart of the iPad. Because the lighting iPad in Loop and Konnect is enclosed in a case, we cannot get to the power button easily. This article will walk through how to restart the iPad using "AssistiveTouch" to avoid removing the iPad from the case.

Open the Settings app on the iPad.

Look for the app with a gear icon and tap on it to open the Settings app.

Tap "General"

Tap "Accessibility".

Turn on AssistiveTouch.

When turning AssistiveTouch on, you will see a white and gray circle appear on the screen.

Tap the white circle.

Tap "Device".

Tap "More".

Select "Restart" and wait patiently for the iPad to restart

Open Luminair, test the application, and ensure it works properly.

If this does not resolve the issue you are having, please submit a Help Desk ticket for further help.
