This article describes the setup and menu options of the standard campus main line.
The Campus Main Line Greeting is the message a caller hears when the campus main line is not answered.
Navigate to https://dialpad.com/login and sign in with your Office 365 credentials. Click admin settings to acces the campus main line settings.
Assigned Operators
Only add your team members who will need to answer calls coming into the campus main line or make outgoing calls from this number. In the action drop down menu, you can add give administrative access. Only the campus operations team should be set up as administrators. Team members will receive an email notification when they are added to or removed from the mainline.
Business Hours & Call Handling
Make sure your timezone is set and that the specific hours option is selected. When calls are received outside of business hours, the caller will be directed to the mainline greeting and menu prompts. During business hours, calls will be routed to operators and only directed to the greeting and menu prompt when an operator is not available.
Call routing options must be set for open hours and closed hours.
Main Line Greeting Layout with Menu Prompts
The Welcome Greeting will be the item changed the most for holidays and pertinent information, such as weather related information, as directed. The Menu Prompts will not change unless directed by the Central Campus Operations Team.

Service Times and Location Information Message
Second to the Welcome Greeting, the Service Times and Location Information message needs to be updated when a campus changes or adds service times.
In the dropdown box for Option 1, choose Recorded message. Then click the + button to record your service times greeting.
Enter a name for your recording, then click the red button to start the recording.
After you complete your recording, make sure it is selected for Option 1 in the open and closed hours tabs.
