This article will walk you through adding Minimum and Desired capacities for your ministry's individual roles.
If no minimum or desired capacity is set for a role, the Auto-Schedule tool will not work correctly.
1. Enter the Check-In Group menu.
2. Expand the Volunteer Menu and find your Campus, then expand that as well.
3. Expand your Ministry, then select a Role
For this example, we will be using Volunteer>Edmond>LifeKids Leader>LifeKids Coach. This process is the same for other roles in LifeKids, as well as the roles in other ministries and Campuses.
4. Information about the role will appear on the right side of the role list, along with a list of group members. At the top of the information window will be a drop-down menu that says "Volunteer Scheduling Settings", click that.
5. Enter in the number of minimum Volunteers in the "Minimum Capacity" column and the desired number of Volunteers in the "Desired Capacity" column. Add these numbers according to each service time's row, listed under "Schedule".
6. After changing any of the numbers in either of the columns, click "Update Schedule" on the right to change the schedule to reflect your changes.
You will need to click "Update Schedule" for every service time (row) you change.
