MacOS - App Permissions

While this article is specific to Teams permissions on your Mac; you may find you need to follow similar steps with other applications you install on your computer.

MacOS Ventura

Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security

For Screen Recording Access

  1.  Scroll down on the right-hand side and select Screen Recording
  2.  Turn the slider for Teams to the On position

For Camera Access

  1.  Scroll down on the right-hand side and select Camera
  2.  Turn the slider for Teams to the On position

For Accessibility

  1.  Scroll down on the right-hand side and select Accessibility 
  2.  Turn the slider for Teams to the On position
MacOS Monterey and earlier

Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy

Click on the Privacy tab

For Screen Recording Access

  1. Click the padlock (bottom left) and enter your computer password
  2. Select Screen Recording and...
  3. Check the box next to Microsoft Teams

By granting "Screen Recording" you'll now be able to share your screen while in a Teams meeting

For Camera Access

  1. Select Camera
  2. Check the box next to Microsoft Teams

For Accesibilty

  1.  Select Accessibility
  2.  Check the box next to Microsoft Teams
