Adding a Date to a Special Event for Check-In

This article will show you how to add a check-in date for a special event.

Special Events include:

  • Chazown
  • Child Dedication Meetings
  • Known
  • One Time Special Event
  • Sisters
  • Wildlife
  • Worship Night

Things to know before Editing a Special Event

DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES TO THE NAMES OF THE SPECIAL EVENTS. DO NOT ADD ANY NEW SPECIAL EVENTS.  

  • Do not make changes to check-ins for Christmas or Easter services. IT will add all the dates and times for these services.
  • To pull attendance for a one-time Special Event, pull by the Date the event took place.
  • Please add dates no later than 24 Hours before the event so that Check-In can sync and work properly.
Adding a new Date and Schedule for a Special Event

Click on the Check-In icon.

Select Special Events

Scroll to find your Campus and click the left arrow to open the list of Special Events.

Once there, click on the event you want to add a date to.

Click the Edit button in the bottom-left corner of the Event Detail box.

Check-in kiosks are set to open 3 hours before the event is scheduled to start and to remain open for 3 hours after the event starts. We recommend not changing those times in case of someone forgetting to check-in.

Click Edit Schedule

  1. Add the date and time of the event as the Start Date / Start Time.
  2.  Enter the Duration of the event

a. Optional: Click Recurring - this allows you to add additional dates for a future events. (if you have the date of your next event it can be added at the same time as this event.  You can add as many as you like)

b. Under Recurrence, click Specific Dates and set your chosen dates.

  1. Click OK on the right side of the window.

Click Save to complete.

Follow these same steps over again to add new dates to existing events.
