The Eon One MK2s are battery operated speakers that can be used as a portable PA system or a bluetooth playback solution. It can be used as a basic worship set, or to simply play some background music for events or when working on projects..
The columns are the poles that attach to one another to allow them to stack. Each speaker should come with two of these; on each pole will be an arrow pointing downwards, showing where to insert it.
Be sure to attach the column with the battery icon first; as this is what sends the power upwards, which will reach the speaker top.
The full setup will look like this once everything is connected.
Now that all the connection stuff is taken care of, it is now time to actually work with your audio settings.
Notice to the right of the Main/Menu button, there are five more encoders across the back of the speaker, reading Gain, Bass, Mid, Treble, and Reverb. However, these things are not the only functions these controls are capable of.
While on the top menu of the MK2 with nothing selected, turning the Main/Menu encoder clockwise and counterclockwise turns the master volume up and down, respectively.
After the volume has been adjusted, the current volume level will be displayed temporarily before returning to the main screen.
Turning one of the five smaller encoders will adjust the volume of the channel shown below it. For example, turning the encoder under Reverb clockwise will bring up the volume of channel five; in this case, channel five is used for bluetooth playback purposes.
Once the worship set has ended, the cleaning session is done, and you are getting ready to put the MK2 away for the day:
- Carefully lift off the top speaker column and store it in the center space in the back of the MK2.
- The second column to put away goes in the space to the right of the center column (if looking at the MK2 from the back).
- The final column will go in the last open space, to the left of the center one.
- After completing this step, the speaker should look similar to the image below.
Push the columns down into their holes until you hear it click; this is done to ensure that they are getting locked into position.
Finally, on the back of the speaker, towards the center, there are two lock icons. One has a closed lock icon and the other side has an open lock icon for locking and unlocking the parts in place.
When the unlocked icon (the top button) is pushed down, the columns are free to move. Please lock them back whenever they are not being moved around. The switch should look like the image below when locked.
