This article outlines how to use self check-in and assisted check-in (Guest Services).
Additionally, you can:
- Modify households by adding children or visitors
- Create a new household from check-in
Click the Rock RMS icon on the desktop to open the application.
Only change the URL if you share your check-in machine.
(For example, Switch uses your check-in machines mid-week.)
Always use the correct ministry Addresses for Campus Check-in - Weekend & Events when sharing the check-in computer.
1. Click Start.
2. Scan a Life.Church App or barcode to begin.
3. Select the people to be checked in.
4. Click Next.
The kids will automatically be checked into the room that fits their age. The screen below will appear.

2. Click Start.
3. Search for the person or household.
- Click Or Search to go to Assisted Check-In.
To search by name, enter the first few letters of their first and last name, or the phone number without the area code.
Do not search by a barcode number at Guest Services; the system defaults to search by phone number and will pull up a different household.
Select the correct family.
Select the individuals who are checking in; those selected will be outlined in blue.
Click Next.
Once complete, the screen will return to the search screen for the next person.

Click Or Search button to go to Assisted Check-In.

Select the correct family.
To edit a person, click Edit Family.
To add someone to a family (spouse, child, grandchild or visitor), click + Add Person.
Click the pencil to edit a family member anytime. Be sure to click Save.
Select Child, Adult, or any other label.
Child means the new person is a child of that household, for instance, a newborn baby.
- Complete the form.
- Be sure to include Grade when available.
- Click Done to save.
Search for the person or household.
Click Or Search to go to Assisted Check-In.

If the family does not exist in Rock RMS, the following screen will appear.
Click Add a New Family.
- Complete the first form to enter the Head of Household.
- Click Done to save.
Note: Each adult will have a different barcode automatically assigned to them if they are using the Life.Church App to check in.
- Click + Add Person to enter each family member.
- Click Done to save.
- Add a Child. School age children please include a Grade and Birthdate.
- Click Done to save.
When finished adding all family members, click Save to complete.
