MidFirst Bank - Internet Explorer Settings

After logging in to Remote Deposit for MidFirst Bank, if you experience issues, such as seeing a server connection issue, ActiveX controls, etc, most likely the security settings have been reset by a recent Windows update.

To process remote deposit you must use a PC and Internet Explorer browser.

These steps guide you through updating the required security settings for Internet Explorer to enable Remote Deposit.

1. Compatibility View Settings

  a. Click the gear symbol in the top right hand corner of the IE browser

  b. Select 'Compatibility View Settings'

  c. Add the midfirst.com website by clicking the add button

  d. Click the Close button

2. Check Internet Options

  a. Click the gear symbol in the top right hand corner of the IE browser

b. Select Internet Options, then the Security tab

c. Select Trusted Sites, then Sites

    d. Confirm that Midfirst.com is added

  d. Lastly, under the Security tab, confirm custom levels by clicking 'Custom level...'

Enable the following security settings (enable/disable) for ActiveX controls and plug-ins as well as under Miscellaneous

Note: Some settings are enabled while others are disabled, be sure to select the correct one.

Click 'OK' and then 'Apply'

You may need to confirm the updates and restart the computer
