LifeKids Check-in Screen Savers

This article is going to walk you through setting up a screen saver with the recommended settings.

Step 1 - Download Images

Navigate to Webdam Link Here to download the images provided by LifeKids & Creative Media.

Create a new folder to place the images we are going to use:

1. Click on the search bar located at the bottom-left side of the screen, type 'pictures' and click on the Pictures File Folder.

2. Once the Pictures folder is open, right-click on any blank part of the folder, then position the mouse cursor over 'New' and click on 'Folder' to create a new folder.

3. Type 'screen saver' and hit the 'Enter' key to rename the folder and save it with the new name. It should look like the following screenshot:

Look up and move the images to the new 'Screen Saver' folder:

1. Click on the search bar located at the bottom-left side of the screen, type 'downloads' and click on the Downloads File Folder.

2. Once the Downloads folder opens, you should see the images that you want to use for the screen saver. Click-hold and drag the cursor over all the images to select them like shown in the following screenshot.

3. To move the pictures, click and drag the images to the newly created 'screen saver' folder. Then release the mouse button. It should look something like this:

4. Close all folders.

Change screen saver type and select photos to use:

1. Click in the search bar located at the bottom-left side of the screen, type 'screen saver' and hit the 'Enter' key.

2. To set the type of screen saver to a Photos one, click on '(none)' and then click on 'Photos'.

3. To set the timer to 3 minutes, click on the up arrow until the Wait Time shows '3 minutes'.

4. Check the box next to 'On resume, display logon screen'. This will lock the screen and the password for the computer will need to be entered to access RMS again.

To select the pictures:

4. Click on 'Settings'.

5. Click on 'Browse' to look for the folder that contains the pictures.

6. Look for and select the folder 'Screen Saver' where the pictures are saved and then click 'OK'.

7. Click on 'Save'.

8. Click on 'Apply' and then click on 'OK'.

9. Good job! You did it!
