Setup the Room

Turn on Projectors

Using the Panasonic remote, point it at each projector and press the red power button.

The light on each projector will turn from red to green once powered on, but the lamp may take a minute or so to warm up.

Displays

  • The projector board on the north wall is set up to only display the map and time zones.  
  • The SMART board on the south wall is a touch screen that can be used for presentations, white board sessions, etc.
  • The large screen across the main wall is broken up into three sections (left, center, & right). You will use the Avitech control box in the center of the table to choose what you'd like to display on each screen.

  • Blank displays nothing on the screens
  • Table 1 is the input from the north side of the table if you're wanting to plug your computer in and display it on the screen.
  • Table 2 is the input from the south side of the table if you're wanting to plug your computer in and display it on the screen.
  • Campuses is what you'll select if you're wanting to watch the GOC feeds. Note: You must select "Campuses" on both left and right to see all the campuses.

  • SMART Board shows you a duplicate of what is on the SMART board on the south wall.
    Tip: The keyboard & mouse on the table control the SMART board.
  • Video Conference is what you'll select if you're wanting to conduct a video conference call.
  • Apple TV is what you will select if you're wanting to use AirPlay from your Mac or other Apple product.
  • GOC Options has several different layout views for the room. You can select each of those to see which you prefer. Select Campus Audio to pick a campus to listen to their weekend experience.
