Creating and Managing Your Own Workflows

1. Editing Steps

  1. Name of the Step (Do Not Edit)
  2. Description - Add what will be done in this step i.e. Phone Call, Handwritten Note, Email (these are pre entered, please do not edit)
  3. Default Assignmee - All Steps are assigned to the generic "person" created as a placeholder. Change this to yourself (the ministry pastor) or another person you've assigned to receive the emails for this step and who will handle this follow-up. To add someone, they must first have visibility to the workflow.
  4. Auto-Snooze - All Steps are set for 3 months (Do Not Edit)
  5. Save

2. Adding a person as an Assignee on Your Workflow

Once a person has permissions to PCO - People and been given Visiblity to your worklflow, you can assign steps to them to work in a workflow.

2.1. Open Your Workflow and Click on the Step You Want to Edit

2.2. Click Edit Step (in far right corner)

2.2.1. Click Change under Default Assignee

2.3. Type in Name

2.3.1. Select from Dropdown of Names

If the name you are looking for doesn't appear, follow steps for adding a person to the People Application of Planning Center and Adding then to your Workflow visiblilty.
