How do I fix content that is not playing correctly or at all?

Follow these steps to troubleshoot situations where the content is not playing or is not playing correctly.

For video that is distorted, freezing, slow to play, or continues to buffer:

  1. Restart the Roku device.
  2. If restarting does not fix the issue, try initiating a manual update.
  3. If problems continue, please contact the IT Helpdesk.

For video that shows a black loading screen for just a second and then goes back to the previous screen.

This is most likely an issue with the video file itself. Please contact IT immediately.
