Before each weekend experience please check the following three updates on each Windows machine at the campus:
- Windows
- Dell Command
- Support Assist
Click the start (windows icon) at the bottom of the screen and search for "updates". Click Enter when you see "Check for updates".
Click, Check for updates
If Windows finds updates it will begin to install and ask to restart once it is complete.
Click the start (windows icon) at the bottom of the screen and search for "dell command". Click Enter when you see "Dell Command Update".
Click on the Check button
Check the boxes next to any updates it finds. Click Install.
Note: Not all Windows machines will have Support Assist installed. If it is not currently installed you may skip this step.
Click the start (windows icon) at the bottom of the screen and search for "support". Click Enter when you see "Support Assist".
Click, Start Now to search for updates.
Support Assist will check for updates.
When it's done, you will see Update, if there are updates available.
Make sure "Select all" is checked, and click Install on the next screen.
