Cleaning and disinfecting electronic devices is a must in this particular time. So here's how to do it:
Kiosks and iPads
As we are highly sensitive to providing a clean environment, we wanted to provide information on how to clean your kiosks and iPads. This does NOT apply to your staff laptops.
- Never spray directly on the device. Spray onto a soft cloth. Then lightly wipe the surface.
- Clean the touch screen with a BLEACH FREE disinfecting wipe ,e.g. Lysol Wipe. Do not use Oxvir or a bleach wipe as it has the potential to ruin your touch screen.
- Wipe the surface until visibly wet and leave air dry for approximately 4 minutes (or what your specific brand specifies). You may need to repeat this process if the screen was extra dirty.
- Once the screen is clean and dried, you MUST clean it with a microfiber cloth wipe off any residue that may have been left behind. This residue has the ability to hinder the touch performance of the machine.
- Once that's done, the device is ready for use.
Laptops
